Nexans acquired Olex in 2006. As a result a new brand identity and logo was created that symbolised the acquisition – Olex, a Nexans Company.
As a business we are reinvigorating our strategic direction and culture, with the adoption of Nexans values, a new vision for Olex, together with a change to our brand name.
The Olex logo will be replaced by the Nexans Olex logo and new brand identity.
Olex is a highly recognised and well regarded brand in the region and our customer relationships have been formed over decades. Our new logo and brand identity reinforces and emphasises ties with Nexans, whilst maintaining the value of the Olex brand.
We are happy to now display our new logo, which you will be seeing more and more as we transform our marketing and branding materials.
These changes will not affect our current relationships as our Legal trading entity Olex Australia Pty Ltd remains unchanged and as valued Olex customers be rest assured that we are the same people, with local knowledge and global expertise, now as a fully integrated part of a leading global cable and cabling systems Company with even more to offer.
