The latest addition to our range of self-resetting emergency lighting test units, type ELTU4TB, incorporates a key switch for secure access to the test and reset functions, and user-settable test timer which is accessible from the face of the unit.
Incorporating a four-pole contactor operated by a 230V – 240V AC or DC supply and capable of switching loads up to 24A, the contactor has an integral position indicator. The ELTU4TB includes a secondary indicator module for visual confirmation of operation.
All control elements are DIN-rail mounted within a white plastic housing.

- Simple control of the automatic discharge testing of a group of emergency escape lights or exit signs.
- The ABB ELTU4TB provides the essential test facility for emergency lighting and exit signs to ensure compliance with the manual testing requirements of AS2293.1-2005 clause 4.3.1.
- The ELTU4TB includes a key switch, timer and 4NC DIN contactor. Initiating the unit via the key switch energises the DIN contactor and commences a timer function for a preset time. The style of timer used allows a time range setting from 0.05s to 100h.
