As renovating a hotel is a costly undertaking, the aim is to update or upgrade those aesthetic and operational aspects of the enterprise that will result in more business — immediately and for as many years as possible into the future.

When the Rydges management decided to renovate its 304-room South Bank Hotel, these were some of the many considerations that influenced the final $30 million redesign.
Rydges Hotels Area General Manager, Callum Kennedy, explains that the design objective was to achieve an opulent environment, while maintaining a contemporary ambience to compete with current market trends.
Legrand’s Arteor range of electrical sockets and switches provided a cutting-edge solution for this project. Arteor’s expansive choice of coverplate finishes helped ensure the switches and sockets complement the overall design ethos for the hotel.
“The Arteor switch range complements this design brief,” he says.
Arteor is renowned for its exquisite collection of light switches, dimmers, power, audio, video, data and USB sockets. However, this is only the beginning - Arteor is set to proliferate the home automation sector with the introduction of this cutting-edge IoT solution, which will be released in March this year.
