Organised by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), the annual IES Awards brings together leaders in the field to recognise excellence in lighting.

Held at Sydney’s Star Casino, the event housed more than 500 guests in lighting design, lighting manufacturing, electrical engineering and architecture.
This year’s IES Awards received an incredible amount of submissions. Among these entries, Legrand’s LED Satellite Series won a Commendation Award for its excellent performance and reliable design.
The LED Satellite Series has long been renowned for its reliable operation, minimal energy consumption and lamp longevity. However, a standout feature is the range’s recent upgrade, which has significantly enhanced its optical performance.
Available in D50, D63 and Corridor classifications, each optic is designed to meet a range of commercial applications.
The improved optical performance of Legrand’s LED Satellite, combined with its new and stylish design, gives contractors the luxury of choice and flexibility. For example, contractors can choose from a wider range of optic classifications and aesthetic finishes that can be customised to suit a range of lighting projects specific to their clients’ needs.
Legrand is proud to be recognised by an industry leader that values excellence in lighting manufacturing and design. However, the IES Awards goes beyond acknowledging and rewarding businesses for their creative designs: the event’s key aim is to educate people in the field on the latest trends and technologies, as well as recognise new, innovative and authentic contributions to the lighting field. www.legrand.com.au
