Design and Build Quality
With LED providing a much longer life span than their older high intensity discharge counterparts, the LIGHTPAD’s construction and build quality guarantees reliability over time while also making installation and planned maintenance much easier. For example, the large dorsal wings on the body optimises heat exchange with the surrounding environment and is also self-cleaning by promoting the outflow of rainwater to clean out debris which can impair heat dissipation. This system helps prevent poor LED performance and reduce non-planned maintenance.
Glare Control and Uniform Light Distribution
The LIGHTPAD features the “Reflex Comfort System” that combines refraction and reflection from each single LED to reduce glare. It works by visually enlarging the emitting surface of LED chip bouncing light off the high performance reflector to distribute light across the entire area being illuminated. Each LED’s light output overlaps each other so that the light generated is the sum of each individual LED combined. The “Secure Light Distribution” system guarantees uniform distribution without hot spots (or bright spots) of intense illumination. It also means that if one LED happens to fail the entire area remains practically the same in terms of average light levels.
Versatile Solutions
A wide range of model options along with efficient performance allow the LIGHTPAD to be installed in a variety of spaces ranging from small parking areas to streets or any large open area. Additionally, models are available with either 1-10V dimming or power reduction for further energy saving.
