The registration process for lineworkers is undertaken in agreement with the Victorian Major Electrical Companies (MECs) of AusNet Services, Jemena, United Energy and CitiPower and Powercor. Together they comprise VESI (the Victorian Electricity Supply Industry).
Registration as a lineworker in Victoria is undertaken in accordance with VESIs skills and training guidelines and must be supported by one of the MECs named above.
