Some of the country’s best and brightest sparkies were acknowledged for their contributions to the industry at the recent Master Electricians Australia (MEA) state excellence awards.

MEA received an overwhelming number of entries this year from those who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in the industry.

MEA CEO Malcolm Richards said he was extremely impressed at the hard work and dedication put in by award winners and finalists throughout the year.

“The sheer volume and quality of nominations meant the judges certainly had their work cut out for them in short listing and selecting winners.

“The awards are a wonderful opportunity to recognise outstanding quality, attention to detail and high standards of professionalism within the industry.

“Each of the winners epitomise what Master Electricians is all about, which is essentially to lead the industry and connect with others on these advancements”, Mr Richards said.

The state excellence award winners will now go head-to-head at the National Excellence Awards and compete for the national title. National winners will be announced at a gala dinner during MEA’s 2014 Electrical Industry Conference in September.
