On Saturday 3 August, Tasmanian Electrical and Communications contractors and apprentices were recognised at the prestigious annual electrical industry Excellence Awards, hosted by peak Australian industry body the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA).

Finalists in nine categories received awards in front of over 200 industry representatives including contractors, business partners, educators and government representatives at the showcase event at Tattersalls Park Function Centre in Hobart.
“The Awards are a great way for NECA members to be recognised for their commitment to excellence in the industry,” said Andrew Farr, Tasmanian State President. “We congratulate the successful electrical and communications contracting firms for what they have achieved in each project,” he added.
The 2013 business partners were well represented at the Presentation dinner. Mike Siggins from Platinum Business partner CNW and Gold business partners Dean Coady from Clipsal by Schneider Electric, Natasha Brown from Aurora Energy and John Berry from Cables Plus Tas presented awards to the winning companies and apprentices.
