VoltiDEALS, the online marketplace set up by Voltimum Australia and New Zealand, has seen excellent growth this year and over achieved on all targets.

It was created to address an imminent business issue in times of ever shortening product lifecycles driven by the shift towards LED in the lighting category and ever increasing numbers of new product introductions & innovations.
Voltimum Australia’s historic mission is to inform, train and educate the market about product innovations and help installers in their product selection and choice. VoltiDEALS now gives them the option to purchase on the same platform.
Damir Pletikosa, sales and marketing manager for Voltimum Australia and New Zealand, said: “We are adding the missing element. Now users can buy the product that has been promoted to them through our portals, so it completes the loop.”
Our Market Insights tell us that our users are very happy with this new offering, which is clearly in line with the general trend to purchase more products online.
“The suppliers involved all agree that this was a very innovative way of doing business in this day and age,” said Pletikosa, “and they also see opportunities that initial purchases will make it easier to create demand for these products in the traditional distribution channels.”
As Voltimum is a strong online brand and only promotes high quality manufacturers, this maximizes the purchasing potential, as buying products from a reputable source is important to our users.
Over the last year we have added 14 brands on VoltiDEALS: HPM Legrand (Nelson brand), LCA Holdings (Eye Lighting, Eyelite, Prisma, Standard and SBP Urban Lighting brands), Megaman, Osram, Philips, Thorn, Emona Instruments (Metrel, Seaward, Protag, Trotec brands) and Pivotal (Online learning). More than 300 lighting and test and measurement products are available to buy.
Pletikosa identified three main types of buyers: electrical contractors, who buy work-related products and often return to make repeat purchases; homeowners, clients, architects and designers, who mostly make one-off purchases; and facilities managers, who often turn to VoltiDEALS for LED lamps or downlights.
Based on the success of the launch and the high satisfaction rates VoltiDEALS will continue its growth in 2016. Stay tuned for the updates!
