AS/NZS 3008.1 is the selection guide for cables of rated voltages up to 0.6/1 kV and is due for publication end of 2016/early 2017. This standard is an important document for the electrical industry and is called up in the wiring rules (AS/NZS 3000) and is therefore a legally mandated document. So why is it being revised?
