Our Wiring Rules Refresher Course is primarily designed to refresh an Electrician's skills in applying the rules to everyday scenarios. It is a very practical course, working through calculations around the various topics listed.
The important aspects of Revision 1 and 2 will be discussed, however this course is not meant as an in-depth update to those revisions.
Topics include:
- Current Carry Capacity
- Voltage Drop
- Maximum Demand
- Fault Loop Impedance
- Installation Testing and Safety Compliance
Copies of the changes will be available on the day if required.
All students should have their own Wiring Rules Book on the day
(preferably updated with Revision 1 and 2). Books will be available on the
day to share if students do not have their own.

- Copy of AS/NZS 3000:2007 Wiring Rules
- Calculator
Outcome
Students attending this refresher training will be able to successfully apply the requirements of AS/NZS 3000:2007 to their every day work in a safe and competent manner.
