Pierlite Diginet Emergency Lighting Management System
1 Emergency DIGINET is a simple, intelligent emergency lighting management system designed by industry experts to effectively manage and monitor the status of emergency lighting within a network. DIGINET utilises a DALI international open protocol to communicate between luminaires and the computer software. Types of applications for a DIGINET system • Commercial & industrial installations • Low rise office or apartment buildings • Multiple building campuses • Hospitals • Correctional facilities • Educational facilities • Health centres and aged care facilities • Centralised emergency light management 3 x typical system styles FOOLPROOF INSTALLATION The DIGINET System is as simple to install as a non-monitored single point system, just install the emergency lights as per plans and by using a CMS type cabling connection method, the system should not be compromised by poor cable connection. The ‘plug & play’ type cabling will connect to a small wall mounted LCD display computer, then by simply commissioning each product into the computer the system is ready to go. SELF MONITORING DIGINET is self monitoring, it can diagnose system and product faults in readiness for maintenance access at either the 6 monthly test or anytime in between. INDEPENDENT OR COMPLETE-YOUR CHOICE You can choose whether to cable for an independent DIGINET Emergency Lighting Management system or a Complete DALI Lighting Management system, the cabling and connection remains the same simple method for both systems therefore both systems can connect to the same wiring loop. This will reduce Labor, Cost and confusion. EASY SYSTEM CONTROLS The DIGINET system features a unique LCD graphical user interface type computer to control and monitor. This is accessible via ethernet, LAN, WAN etc. The LCD control panel can be located in an electrical/data riser, front desk etc. and accessed on any PC via an allocated IP address over the internet. SIMPLE AUSTRALIAN STANDARDS COMPLIANCE The DIGINET emergency lighting management system makes compliance with AS2293.2 and various State and Local regulations very easy. The system is designed to run the required 6 monthly discharge tests, create maintenance logs and run compliance reports to assist in making sure that a crucial building safety system stays operational. The system provides reliable data that is not compromised by human error and makes it quick and easy to access. DIGINET Cable Management Options Features • Simplifies the wiring and provides Plug & Play connectivity • 5 way hard and soft wiring solutions available • Reduce wastage in materials • Luminaires and interconnecting cables can be installed at the same time • Combined lighting, power, control and communication wiring eliminates the need for separate Data Cabling. • Add Luminaires or Devices by simply plugging in. • Reduce the quantity and variety of wiring required in an installation. Mains 240VAC. 16A and 20A versions available 5 core wiring which typically consists of 3 x conductors for A, E, N and 2 x conductors for DALI (min 1.5mm2) allowing for up to 64 DALI Addresses over 300 metres.
