Conventional use of crimping pliers poses a risk that cable lugs will snag in the pliers or be crimped incorrectly. The crimping pliers with oval crimping (O-Crimp) from Wiha can eliminate unnecessary waste of cable and wire-end sleeves. It has a crimping range from 0.5 to 6.0 mm², which covers a large part of all possible applications. Thanks to the color coding of the crimping ranges, the red area can be used for crimping connectors insulated in red from 0.5 to 1.0 mm², the blue area for connectors insulated in blue from 1.5 to 2.5 mm², and the yellow area for connectors insulated in yellow from 4.0 to 6.0 mm². The high crimping quality results from the automatically adjusted pressure force and the option of interrupting the crimping process manually by an emergency release function.
